Job Postings

Job postings are free to list and run for 30 days each.  Ads in this section are limited to a maximum
of 150 words, and can include a link to a company or organization’s website (if desired).

  • One job per ad, please.  Exceptions may be made when multiple openings are available for the
    same position (i.e. sales associates), closely-related positions (i.e. Accountant and A/P Clerk),
    or when advertising for multiple positions with little description (i.e. when staffing a restaurant).
  • Positions advertised must be based in Hampshire, Franklin or Hampden County, and the
    advertising entity must also have a base in Western Massachusetts.
  • A maximum of five (5) job ads can be run concurrently by any single business, organization or
    agency.  If you would like to post a sixth ad or more, it must be exchanged with other ads
    previously posted.


Volunteer and Internship Postings

Volunteer and internship postings are free to list.  Volunteer opportunities remain posted
indefinitely or until the specific need is filled.  Internships (which can be paid or unpaid
opportunities) remain posted for 3 months or until the application deadline (if stated),        
whichever comes sooner.  


Submitting a Posting

To submit a job, volunteer opportunity or internship advertisement:

1) Prepare the text of your advertisement (see current ads or click
here for ideas).

2) E-mail your ad text to
advertising@nohojobs.com.

That's it!  Once we receive your ad text, we will prepare your advertisement for posting.  Unless we
have any questions or need to contact you, your ad will usually be posted within 24-48 hours.



Ad Change, Expiration and Renewal Policy

Advertisements can be changed at any time, but will remain listed with their original post date
unless the advertised position itself has changed.  If you are an employer that has advertised a
position which has subsequently been filled, please contact us so that we can remove any ads that
are no longer viable.  

Advertisements can be renewed on an ongoing basis if desired.  Please contact us the week before
expiration if you would like to renew, so that we know the position is still open and available.  


Other

  • Acceptance of all advertising is subject to approval by NohoJobs.com.  We do not accept
    advertisements for any positions requiring job seekers to pay a fee for further information.  
    Material deemed inappropriate will also not be accepted or posted.
  • NohoJobs.com reserves the right to exercise discretion in the selection, editing and duration of
    advertisements; limit ad size; abbreviate, format and condense text as necessary; and/or not
    publish any ad or content that is deemed to be offensive, illegal or suspected of containing false
    or misleading information.
